Raku for 2012

As I am a local potter, I have decided to run Raku Pottery courses starting this year, for those of you who would like to find their creative self.

Raku is an exciting way of introducing people into the world of ceramics, giving excellent and almost spontaneous results.

I am offering a course, which you can learn the basics of hand building, or throwing on a wheel.

Or if you are more experienced just the enjoyment of being amongst like minded  artistic types, whilst having fun with fire and clay.

There are also the wonderful surroundings of the coastal views, down towards St Ives bay and up towards St Agnes head. Great beach walks for three miles at low tide, great stimulation for the budding creative mind.

I recommend groups of 6 sharing, self-catering accommodation is provided only two rooms for privacy, one room is the lounge with two futons, and one of the rooms has a double bed, fine for couples and close friends.
